    Bobby Don Sawyer, 70, of Malvern formerly of Abilene Texas passed away on April 19, 2018.

    He was born on November 21, 1947, in Abilene Texas to the late Loyd Sawyer and Geneva Stevens Sawyer.

    Survivors include his wife, Martha Louise Sawyer, a step-son, Antonio Chavez (Kerry) from Conroe, TX; an adopted daughter, Victoria Fleming from Vancouver Washington; grandchildren, Christian Chavez Kelly and Darcy E. Chavez; brother, Clifton Sawyer (Linda) of New Castle Oklahoma, his sister-in-law, Pauline Muldoon (Tommy) and numerous nieces and nephews.

    He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sandra Sawyer, and a brother, Tommy Sawyer.

    Bobby was retired from the Coast Guard in which he served for 23 years.

    He was a Chief Boatswain’s mate and served 5 campaigns in Vietnam while serving in the Navy.

    A memorial service will be held at the Stevens Family Reunion in July in Brownwood Texas.
